February 10, 2012

There was an amazing storm last night in Houston that began around 10 p.m. It has been so wet lately. Too bad we didn't get some of this rain during the summer. The number of trees and plants lost in Houston last summer is tremendous. But instead of the drought, the ground is so soggy right now.
Planning a summer trip to Chicago to visit
"Katie Lou" (pictured with Dr. Mc) and Andrew.

Sticking with the weather theme of this blog, expect to read or hear in the news this summer that people are missing because they have been eaten alive by mosquitos. February is always the coldest month in Houston. If we don't have freezes, the mosquito eggs go crazy, especially with all the standing water we have right now.

Today I'm creating lunch for myself. The last couple of days Mr. B has been coming home at noon to make lunch for me and take the babies outside. His day must be overwhelming because I haven't heard from him today.
