Mother's Day 2013.

It was sad today to read posts from my Facebook friends. Almost everyone my age is missing their mothers today. This makes me sad because if my mother had taken care of herself, she should be alive and 83. Instead she has been gone for 11 years.

I had a great brunch at Dr Mc and #1 son-in-law Nick's abode. As always, brunch was delicious and the company was great. I'm wishing right about now that I had some leftovers to eat for dinner. Perhaps a salad would be better.

Today I'm creating family time, and feeling sad because the other three members of my original family aren't here. Fortunately I have the lovely McCarley sisters to hep put a smile on my face!
