Yesterday, my day started way too early. I set up breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. for a group of 60+ and then set up for a meeting that began at 10 a.m. During the morning meeting I cleaned up from breakfast and set up lunch. During the afternoon meeting I cleaned up from lunch and set up for coffee after the meeting. These adventures were all in one location before I went to another meeting at 3 p.m. By the time I got home, it was 4 p.m.

I was going to nap for about 30 minutes. Instead I went to sleep at 4:30 p.m. and didn't wake up until 11:30 p.m. I was back asleep again by 1 a.m. If I was missing sleep, I caught up yesterday.

Today I'm creating meetings from about 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Then I have one more meeting at 5:30 p.m. The Little Prince has been with me all day and has been the best baby EVER! He waited until we got home to fill his diaper.

I heard on the news that a Houston couple left their infant in their car for 1.5 hours while they went shopping. The temperature was 38 degrees. Why do people like them have children?

On the other hand, I took The Little Prince to a meeting today. He slept for two hours before waking up. I had made a bottle before I went to the meeting so I could feed him when he woke up. He drank the bottle and went back to sleep.

Today I'm creating shopping lists for two events this week. One is tomorrow from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. The other one is Thursday from 6-8 p.m. I think I'm in good shape for both.

Beginning Tuesday morning I had so much on my mind. I had an opportunity that could have been magic or tragic. I was consumed with debating the pros and cons of what to do. My emotions were up and down, so I put all unnecessary activity (including blogging) on the back burner until I worked everything out.

The weather certainly didn't help my mood. It has been rainy and very cold in Houston. This type of weather makes me want to stay in the house, in my pajamas and napping. Napping was a good idea because I could get my mind off the topic of what should I do.

Today I'm creating a decision meeting. Everything went even better than expected! It always helps me make a decision when Mr. B tells me that he's with me, no matter what I decide. I'm not ready to announce the details of my confirmed project right now, but I will be in a couple of weeks.

A cold blast hit Houston last night. Even though it's cold, Rose still likes to sleep on the bathroom floor, unless she is laying on her back on the bed … snoring.

There was a time when I loved collecting items. I was on Pinterest.com this morning looking at collections and how to organize them when I realized that they just look like a dusting project. I like collections, but I don't like dusting! Time for more purging.

Today I'm creating final plans for two events next week. I need to make presentations on my event plans tomorrow.

Today we had a family brunch for Dr. Mc's birthday. Sweetness insisted that our reservation at 9:30 a.m. was not brunch, but breakfast. Hum.

The Little Prince is growing hair. He was born with tons of blonde hair, but it all fell out. We weren't sure if it would come back blonde or not. Since he has blonde eye lashes and eyebrows, I thought his hair would be blonde, but you never know. Right now, most of the hair on his head is about 1/4-1/2 inch long, with a few random strands that are probably three inches long. So cute.

Today I'm creating a quiet afternoon to watch previous episodes of Downton Abbey. I forgot how much I enjoyed Maggie Smith's portrayal of Violet, Dowager Countess of Grantham.

Today is Dr. Mc's 35th birthday. How can that be?

The pic-of-the-day is of Dr. Mc when she was probably nine and Evan was less than one. It makes me feel old to look at pictures of when the lovely McCarley sisters were so young. Now Dr. Mc is married with a baby and Sweetness is engaged to be married. How can that be?

Today I'm creating a house free of holiday decorations. Actually, I'm pretty much sitting around and watching Mr. B put the boxes away.

Happy New Year! It's a cold and rainy start to 2015 in Houston, but Mr. B, The Little Prince and I are warm and cozy inside the house.

The three of us rang in 2015 at home last night. The grill master worked his magic on dinner while we waited for Big Daddy Nick to appear on TV. The Suffers played at BigDnye, which was telecast on television. I wish there had been less talking by the two commentators and more music, but it was what it was. The Suffers were terrific! It was exciting to watch them on television.

Today I'm creating cookies to take to two parties. TLP will go to the first party with Mr. B and me, but I suspect his parents will be home before the second one begins. I know they are missing Mr. Baby.
