Aulay, Day 54

A little smile from the little man.
He must have been having a good dream.

With the feeding tube out of his throat, the little man has discovered his tongue. This is good because he needs to learn how to use it for breast and bottle feeding. Yesterday, Dr. Mc and Big Daddy met with a lactation specialist who was evaluating Aulay. Dr. Mc texted me after the meeting that Aulay, "mouthed my boob, lick it, and then feel asleep … just like a man. Ha." So his first time wasn't a charm.

Mr. B wasn't feeling well last night so we stayed hom. I thought at one point that I was going to have to take him to the hospital. He was feeling light headed most of the evening, which had me frightened. He went to bed early, went right to sleep, and left me (and Rose) checking his breathing throughout the night.

Today I'm creating a load of items to take to the dump. I've been in business for myself since 1993, and I have saved every piece of paper. It's time to purge the files of work papers!
